NuperaEducation Fund
Nepal children's appeal

Every child has the right to an education.

Floods, landslides and hardship have left children across Nepal without parents, without homes, and without the school fees their families used to pay. Nupera Education Fund is raising those fees, one named child at a time.

About us

Nupera Education Fund

Nupera Education Fund helps disadvantaged young people around the world access education, funded by a share of Nupera Mall's profits and by raising funds. The Fund provides private sector leadership and support for innovation in public education. Our programmes provide much-needed services to students and educators. We aim to drive positive change by educating underprivileged children in rural and remote areas.

Education is the primary means for children to keep their lives safe. We work for a world where children's rights are respected, protected and enforced.
Our work

We have done this before

The Fund has been putting scholarships directly into the hands of students and their families for years. These are our own photographs of one of those days — the banner, the certificates and the people who came.

Why now

School is the first thing that goes

In August 2026 flash floods tore through Rasuwa, Nuwakot and Dhading. But the children we support are not only the ones a flood reached — some have lost their parents, and some come from families who were already choosing between food and fees. What they have in common is that school is the first thing to be cut, not because anyone stopped caring, but because there is nothing left to pay with. A child pulled out at nine rarely goes back.

10,000of them school-age, needing help to carry on with their education
38schools damaged in those three districts, 18 of them destroyed outright

The children

Every name here is a real child

These are children our team has met, whose guardians we know and whose schools we have spoken to. Support is arranged for a named child, and we report back at the end of the school year.
